heart transplant

Postby sean » Tue Dec 12, 2017 4:32 am

Well I knew that one day I would have to have another ohs, but was expecting another valve replacement, but no apparently my poor 44 year old ticker is tired and so its most likely that my next op will be a heart transplant. No time scale was given but id did seem like the doctor was talking within the next 5 to 10 years.
I'm not at all sure what I think about this, especially after reading up on it on the internet.
Was wondering if any one hear has had a transplant?

Hi Sean, not many people come on this forum anymore, it is more lively (and you'll get more responses) on the somerville foundation facebook group................

I don't know anybody who has had a heart transplant but there's a heart/lung section on the transplant buddies forum http://transplantfriends.ning.com/forum ... ung%28s%29
