GUCH Walking Club - Novemer 2011 - Peak District

In case anyone is interested our plans for the w/end on 12/13 November are:

Sat morning - a gentle walk along the Derwent, with possibly a C16th manor house thrown in (owners are meant to be the source of the name "Eyre"),

Sat afternoon - pop up to Eyam Moor for a look at the WetWithins stone circle

Sunday - climb up the side of Pervil Castle on to the ridge, then depending on how people feel come down Winnat's Pass or carry on onto Mam Tor).

As you'd expect each of the routes can be modified for the individuals walking, the weather, the alignment of chakras and whatever else can affect walking.

As ever, this is November in the Peak; we've had brilliant sunshine, snow, howling winds and crystal clear days - I do have spare kit if people want to borrow some (ladies as well as gents) and a fine eye for a bargain if people want a nudge in the right direction.

Vague plan was to base ourselves in Hathersage, there is a bus to Castleton.
