Speak Up Workshop for 13-19 yr olds

Postby askanne » Tue May 12, 2009 10:19 am

The British Heart Foundation has developed a fun 1 day workshop for young people aged between 13 and 19 who are living with heart conditions. As well as learning all about how to feel more confident and communicate with others, you will learn how to talk to others about your condition in a supportive and creative way. You will also meet other young people and end the day with a fun activity.

The Speak Up workshop is completely free. The BHF will also pay for you to travel to and from the workshop.

It is a fun and relaxed workshop - you won't have to do any tests or give any presentations.

The next Speak Up workshop is being held in London on Wednesday 27th May between 10am and 4.30pm. If you would like to come then please email Sarah Ashton on ashtons@bhf.org.uk or call her on 020 755 40404.

There will be workshops in other parts of the country later in the year.
