Help and support for people who self-harm

Postby askanne » Wed May 28, 2008 3:38 pm

Hi there,
Noticed all the posting on self-harm earlier. Here are some resources that you might find helpful on the subject:

MIND has a leaflet about Young People and Self-Harm that you can read online-
http://www.mind.org.uk/Information/Book ... f-harm.htm

The National Self-Harm Network has resources and information plus a message board for people who self-harm-
www.nshn.co.uk

Bristol Crisis Service for Women again has online resourses and booklets on self-help for self harm. They also run a helpline -
www.users.zetnet.co.uk/bcsw
Helpline 0117 925 1119 Fri+Sat 9pm-12.30am, Sun 6-9pm

Please feel free to contact me if you want further info, to ask questions, or would like support with issues around self-harm.
