Hello, I am 17 years old and had the TGA switch operation at about 3 weeks old. Today I had my first appointment at the adult hospital in aberdeen and my consultant told me about this so I thought I would sign up. So far I haven't had any difficulties after my operation and consider myself as an ordinary person and often forget about my condition. I play football which involves training 2 nights a week and a game on the Saturday. I would like to gain more insight into my condition and what complications may arise. Also travel insurance was mentioned by my consultant. Anyone had any difficult experiences with this?

Hi stephen,

There's some info on travel insurance here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5772

If you're on facebook, there's also a Somerville Foundation facebook group which is a bit more lively.

You might find this webinar to be of interest
