TOF with absent pulmonary artery

Postby aghorner » Tue Oct 23, 2012 6:53 pm

After starting with atrial flutter last year I had a Cardiac MRI to assess the need for Pulmonary Valve replacement, one of the things it showed was that right branch of the pulmonary had never developed, so my right lung is supplied with blood from collateral vessels coming from the Aorta.

I was just wondering if anyone else with TOF has this. My cardiologist says that had it not been for the Pulmonary artery she would have put me forward for valve replacement, but at present the risks outweigh the benfits.
