The Somerville Foundation Community Forum aims to provide a place for GUCH patients and their families to establish contact with fellow members, communicate on a range of issues, share experiences and ideas and gain support.

It is the policy of the charity for the Community Forum to be a place where members can freely discuss issues relating to their health and as such the charity itself does not respond to messages on the board.

Since every case of congenital heart disease is different, any medical information displayed on the board should be used ONLY in conjunction with advice from your doctor. Such information cannot and should not be used to replace professional advice from your doctor. Fellow Community Forum members may wish to give medical advice however The Somerville Foundation is unable to take responsibility for this and should you act upon member advice you do so at your own risk.

The views expressed on this board are those of the participants and do not necessarily reflect those of the persons moderating this board or The Somerville Foundation.

  • Any message that may be interpreted as defamatory, against an individual or organisation.
  • Any message containing commercial advertisements or solicitations for money.
